Video games ruining children & marriages

Two reports coming in today, both concerning how video games ruin things…
Catholic marriage counseling service Accord says that 15% of their clients have had issues with their spouse playing too many video games. Hell, I would play a ton of video games as well if I were unhappy in a marriage. I think playing video games is a bit more fun that fighting!
Going right along with the story above, Children’s Commissioner Dr. Maggie Atkinson says that parents need to be more strict with the games they let their children see.
“If you would feel uncomfortable about it being discussed at your family dinner table, whether it’s violence or sexual images, then you shouldn’t be letting your children look at it. Part of parenting is to set the boundaries.”
Sounds like a smart thing to me. Don’t let your kids see what you don’t want them to see. […]
