After previously being announced for the XBox 360 and the Playstation 3, it has been announced that the Wii and the PS2 will also be getting a new incarnation of the survival horror title Alone in the Dark.

I have only played one game in this franchise (Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare for the Sega Dreamcast), and I found it to be ridiculously difficult. Maybe I just suck, but I didn’t get very far before finally giving up. Money well spent.
Hopefully this one will be more on the entertaining side. Of course Wii players will be able to utilize the Wii remote and Nunchuk for a more interactive gaming experience.
No matter what, I am glad to see that Nintendo is continuing to have more and more horror-themed titles heading its way.
